Outside of our manufactured product lines, 99.9 % of our sales are Internet Sold, then shipped through Shippers Like UPS, FedEx, Post Office, etc.

This is a convenience for all involved, however it does add extra costs for Boxes, Packing, Labeling, Office / Warehouse Labor, and Freight charges which can become expensive quickly.  Normally, Shipping is a big add on cost to all mail order, catalog, and internet sales businesses.   On some items which may be fragile, heavy, large, or odd sized, you can expect extra costs because they require extra attention, packing materials, or freight costs for poundage, oversize fees, and/or insurance.

Bottom line is - shipping means hiring people to bring things to you at your expense, for all involved.  Going to a store for pickup, means hiring yourself, and all costs involved (Your time, fuel, maintenance, insurance, etc.), and part of the stores overhead for being there for your pick up convenience.

On special request we can provide pick up arrangements for you to pick up your item on a appointment fee basis.  The $15.00 appointment pick up fee is because we ARE NOT a store front operation, and have to make arrangements to service your pick up needs. Many things can get in ones way of keeping their appointments which is understandable, but also why we do not operate a costly store front operation.  But if you want to SAVE ALL SHIPPING COSTS and directly pick up your purchase we can do that for you.

Obviously, this is only feasible for people within a reasonable distance form our Lockport, IL location which is about 40 minutes S.W. of downtown Chicago, and 10 Minutes North East of Joliet, IL. If this falls within your economic travel range to help offset shipping and handling charges, it is available to you by appointment.

To use this service, your item must be paid in advance as all our sales are, which would include the item cost, sales tax, and the 15.00 pickup fee.  A date and time must be arrange through email communication, and committed to.  Should your appointment not be kept as arranged, the appointment 15.00 fee will be forfeited and your item will be available again for another pickup appointment with fee, or arranged for shipping via UPS, FedEx, or Postal, with the associated costs.  
IF YOU PICK UP YOUR ITEM BY APPOINTMENT TIME  AS AGREED TO,  A 50% PICKUP FEE REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.

Our items are not acquired with boxes or packing materials, so we have to get them for you when your item is being shipped.
However, you DO GET A GREAT DEALER on your Purchase which makes this more than worth while if being shipped!
Besides, there is no such thing as free shipping, or packages.  It is always buried in the product cost somewhere.  We just show it to you!
