Item: UMAX  SCSI Scanner NOTES:  Fully Tested and in Great working condition, Great Scanner.  Includes cables, power.  I know this is a great scanner because it belong to me.  It was used on the graphics computer and well cared for.

This is a SCSI Scanner, which means it uses a SCSI card that inserts into your computer like a modem card.  Some computers have this built in, others need the card.  I have one available for 19.00, or you can get one at most computer stores.

UMAX Vista S-6 Color Flatbed Scanner. This is a professional quality high-end color scanner, which produces absolutely breathtaking color images. It is used, but very lightly and is in perfect working order!

This scanner has a SCSI interface port, an expensive and nearly non-existent option on most scanners. It has amazing optical resolution of 1200 dpi by 1200 dpi - it can churn out near perfect quality images!

All upgrades, are included free for Umax owners and are downloadable from the internet.

UMAX is a German brand, and only manufacture professional grade scanners which have received recognition from major publications such as PC World, PC Magazine, Macworld, MacWeek, and others for nearly all of their products. UMAX's tech support has been rated as excellent in these same publications.

Again, although this is an older generation machine, it's had very little usage, is still in excellent condition both operationally and cosmetically, and is a very reliable product.
